On the road again

We be movin’ to Nashville. At 8 a.m. today, the monster 24-foot moving truck and trailer towing our lives rolled out of Spokane on our nearly 2,500 mile journey to Tennessee.
With cousin Mark at the wheel and Matt following in my little Ford Ranger with poor freaked out Trillan the cat, we completed the first 544 miles of our journey. We traversed mountainous passes and peaks, rolling hills, ranch lands and many small towns spotting deer, moose, elk, antelope and lots of road kill along the way. We even caught a nasty lightening storm in central Montana that woke us up from our driving-way-too-long stupor.
Tomorrow is Wyoming and South Dakota day. If that doesn’t kill us, Iowa on day 3 just might.

What a neat opportunity to see different parts of the country though! So glad Mark joined you guys! He was so fun to travel with last year! I hope you are taking many pictures!
