Adventures of a Wandering Thirtysomething

The apple juice episode was truly classic. Picture Christina so intent on trying the beer in Germany not willing to miss out on it's legendary quality, despite her lack of experience and knowledge of the brews. Here she is frantically searching the phrase book unable to decipher the German menu as countless others whisk by. Failing to match the phrase book words for types of beer with a menu listing them by brand, she concedes to simply grab what appears to be a light beer and the only one to come in a size less than a liter. Arriving at the table the expression on her face was priceless when the first sip revealed her beverage to be apple juice. Defeated and dejected she hands it over to me and I glady accepted after skipping a beverage thinking beer to be the only option.
