Adventures of a Wandering Thirtysomething

Schooooool’s out for summer! Ok, really just for one week, but I had to give props to Alice Cooper. In any case, for the first time in four years I get a spring break. Woo hoo! (Insert photo montage of wet t-shirt contests, beaches and cheap beer.) While I’d like to consider myself a little too sophisticated for the boobs and Pabst Blue Ribbon, I am definitely heading south to the sun (fingers crossed) and sand. That’s right. After getting my butt kicked at school, at work, and life in general for the past eight weeks, this Friday Matt and I are taking a glorious and much-need 5-day break down to L.A. for some R&R. I can’t wait! I’ll be making my first trip to Disneyland ever. Matt will likely spend his time dragging me away from hugging all the characters and hanging out at the castle as I fully intend to spend the day running around like a kid in a candy store. Six Flags, Rodeo Drive, the Hollywood sign/observatory, Kodak Theater, Malibu, and many, many sandy beaches also will be visited. Look forward to some fun pics when we return!
