Adventures of a Wandering Thirtysomething

One of the best parts of traveling is taking in the culture. Not just of the country you are visiting, but of travelers from around the globe who are also touring your destination. In 12 rather short days, we’ve seen a ton of hilarious stuff that keeps us cracking up. By far one of the funniest observations is the way people from other countries take photos of themselves.

In America, we pose rather conservatively with our friends or families, give a nice smile in front of whatever iconic thing it is we’re trying to showcase, and that’s it. Apparently, this is not the only way it’s done around the world. So, in an effort to enlighten everyone back home, we’re starting a new series called Europe’s Next Top Model.

These are our re-creations of actual events. The poses, the facial expressions and the locations are all real. Only the names have been changed to protect the innocent.
