Our first 5k

We finished! Ignore the clock - we finished a lot faster than that.
It may be nine months since I made a New Year's resolution to run a 5k, but I finally fulfilled that resolution yesterday when Matt and I ran our first ever 5k race. We certainly weren't the fastest ones there, but we both beat our training times by several minutes and finished with energy to spare.

Matt is now talking 10k. I think I'll stick with my 5k glory.
