| President James K. Polk's childhood house |
Given Matt’s on-going jobless situation, a new house we continue to spend our free minutes and extra dollars on, and our weekends busy with new friends, we haven’t exactly been in exploration mode. But the travel bug has been biting these days. So, in honor of getting older, I took a day off from work and ventured about an hour south of Nashville to visit Columbia, Tenn.
Not the most earth-shattering place to visit, but hey, we’ve got to get our jollies somehow. Here are some photos from our day of exploration.

Love the pics. I would have taken a trip to visit this pretty little town for my birthday. Good choice on the cafe. Hope it was warm enough to sit outside.
It was too cold to be outside, but the inside was cute. We have so many places to show you when you come visit...it will be hard to pick.
