Adventures of a Wandering Thirtysomething

With more than a year of filling our travel schedule with domestic adventures, we’ve finally got an international trip on the books. To celebrate our four year anniversary in April, we booked a trip back to Jamaica for some much needed sun, sand, Rastafarian culture, fresh seafood and endless rum.

After such an amazing experience for our honeymoon at the Couples Swept Away Resort in Negril, we’re sticking with the same tried and true local resort chain but changing up the location. This time we’ll be heading to Ocho Rios and staying at the Couples Sans Souci, complete with ocean front room.

Despite our resort locale, we plan to be far more adventurous this time around. After logging thousands of hours traveling around countries with heavy language and cultural barriers, we’ve traded in our fears of leaving the safety of a hotel/resort to fears of missing the incredible food, people and culture outside the touristy comforts of our resort.
